Black Diamond
Washington, near Seattle
/ Not only do we know the names of the people, but we know his history and some
of the family stories / Keep looking if you are interested in more about this

There is allot of history
in this group - number one is the first flight of the 747 that brought the jumbo
jet into the world service / there are 2 original rare booklets and pamphlets /
this belonged the Master research mechanic Joe kerkes, he works in the building
of the fist 747 / they tell all the stories of the new jet, and not for the
public's eyes / there are 2 photos of the president of the company and some of
the high board members at Boeing / there is a picture of Joe on one of the
platforms were the serviced the engines / there is a very rare photo of the fist
prototype upper lounge / this is a great aviation historical group
On February
9, 1969, Boeing flies its 747 model for the first time. The jumbo jet,
christened the City of Everett, is the first new Boeing transport not
painted in Boeing's traditional prototype colors of brownish-copper and yellow.
