We are a design firm located in the San Fernando Valley which offers commercial and residential design services to the public, while maintaining an art gallery that showcases artwork by local and in-house artists. Currently, our Company seeks a PT Front Desk Assistant. The candidate should have an enthusiastic voice/demeanor, and love to interact with clients. In addition, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
Qualifications:
- Ability to exercise initiative and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and changing deadlines.
- Must have knowledge of the following programs: Outlook (esp. calendar function,) Excel, and Word
- Possess excellent communication and verbal skills
Duties:
- Answering and routing phone calls
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Coordinate & arrange travel
- Draft and edit correspondence
- Assist with general administrative tasks: filing, faxing, photocopying, office supplies’ inventory etc.
- Running office-related errands
Hours:
We are looking for someone available to work at least 15 hours a week. Additionally, the candidate must be available to work as a reliever for 3 weeks, from January 11-29.
