Bio Therapeutic Laboratories is a specialty plasma donation facility that collects human blood plasma which is used to create life saving medications. We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our team in a rapidly growing environment as a Plasma/Donor Technician (RN) on a part time basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Donor Screening-Determine donor suitability in accordance with regulations, corporate policies.
Product Collection-Perform the collection of Source Plasma and Whole Blood in accordance with applicable Regulations.
Efficiently monitor donors through the donation process to avoid trauma.
Product Processing-Perform proper receipt and processing of collection products. Complete accurate documentation for all products collected. Perform sample processing and pooling procedures. Prepare products for shipping in accordance with Regulations and SOP's.
Desired Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Current California Licensed Registered Nurse
Current CPR card.
Knowledge of FDA, CLIA, OSHA and QPP regulations applicable to the qualification and donation process of donors as well as the processing and storage area.
***Plasmaphersis experience is preferred.
