Review business needs, requirements and technical specification; analyze business requirements and technical specifications to manage and develop high traffic commercial web application; design, implement and test software solutions using web application related Design Patterns, AJAX development, object oriented programming languages such as Java, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, CSS, Hibernate and Spring (or similar MVC framework) frameworks; responsible for delivering to market software that meets the quality profile targeted for the particular piece of software; build software that meets business objectives and requirements that are specified; build meaningful unit, functional, and integration level tests for the software build; participate in technical design reviews and peer coding sessions; write and maintain design, user and test documentation; adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and help refine it, as needed.
Requirements: Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and two years experience in software engineering or in software development or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and five years progressive experience in software engineering or in software development. Must possess experience in web based applications. Must also possess at least one year of experience working with: Web application related Design Patterns; Open Source Technologies; Object Oriented Programming Languages (Java) and Concepts; and, SQL and database, MVC (Model-View Controller frameworks), Hibernate platform, and HTML, and CSS.
