Looking for the following position for myself, a 29-year-old male patient, with Muscular Dystrophy and a ventilator.
Full-Time or Part-Time Caregiver/CNA: choice of shifts include Monday (2 p.m. to 10 p.m.); Tuesday through Friday (choice of 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.), and one Saturday on the last weekend of the month (choice of 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.). Duties include bed, baths, hygiene/grooming, body lifting (approx. 120 lbs), feeding, respiratory care, repositioning, transferring to and from wheelchair, light house keeping, meal preparation, laundry, and weekly shopping. Willing to train.
Requirements: Non-smoker. Reliable transportation. Comfortable communicating in English.
$9.00/hr through In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)
