Organization is the key for a smooth move and this is the time to start getting the details of your move.

Web apps for iPhone and iPod touch combine the power of the Internet with the simplicity of Multi-Touch technology, all on a 3.5-inch screen. You'll find a growing list o...

s you might expect moving internationally can be quite different to simply moving across town. It can even be quite a scary prospect for some of us. But, like any moves, international moves can be handled simply and efficiently with some planning and expert input. They are, in fact, often easier to manage than local moves as you will be giving more responsibility to your chosen moving company through the process.

The first thing you need to think about is your choice of mover. If you're relocating because of your job you'll probably find that your company has a mover you can use or that they will pay costs for you. In all other cases, you should be looking to find a mover as early as possible - there is more involved here than a local move and it pays to get the process sorted well in advance. Try not to be swayed into employing a moving company with no international experience as this can cause problems for you throughout the process. Your ideal choice will be a company with international experience - ideally in the country to which you're moving. This experience means that your moving company can help you make the best out of your move. They'll be better equipped to get your possessions to your new home safely and quickly and can help you manage any relevant paperwork etc. While legally it's a considerably more serious offense when this sort of thing is done at the expense of the president, it is equally wrong morally when the same type of thing is perpetrated against others.

It will be interesting to examine how the liberal media deals with the story as it develops and contrast it with the way it handled the incident about the life-size mannequin of Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, which for weeks hung from a noose around its neck in front of a West Hollywood, CA. home but caused little controversy. Even when the story became Eventually authorities did make the homeowner, Chad Michael Morrisette, remove the "Halloween" display and even extremely far-left liberals like MSNBC's Keith Olberman denounced the "spirit of violence" it portrayed.

Hopefully leaders on the right, who generally possess a more consistent point of reference on morality, will equally decry the unsavory person or persons who would dispairage President Obama so.

Opportunities such as these present themselves for a reason. Perhaps in this case it is a time for traditional America to show its true colors. Conservative leaders will be well served to speak against this incident with a clear, steady voice and leave out personal feelings about whether or not Barack Obama is a "good" president.

It is one thing to spurn the policies, values, and even overall worldview of a politician. It is quite another to threaten, directly or through subtle innuendo, that person's life. Christians are called to pray for leaders. Perhaps this is also an opportunity to pray particularly for Mr. Obama and, again, put personal feelings about his views aside.
