LG. Studio with paid utilities & Satellite TV for Handyperson.This is a large studio (efficiency) apartment attached to a single-family home with a shared yard, and total privacy. The yard is fenced and gated, so it is not like apartment living at all. There is a main room with a kitchenette, including a stove/oven and sink. It also includes a large full bathroom and a spacious walk-in closet. The apartment is totally private from the main house, separated by a hallway. All utilities, including satellite TV service, are included. Phone and internet service are NOT included in the rent.
This apartment is located on a tree-lined street, south of downtown Lancaster, and very near Jane Reynolds park.
The ideal rental candidate will be a "handyperson" with skills in cleaning, painting, and minor plumbing. The reason: The last tenant left the apartment dirty, and with a few minor repair issues to be done.
I am willing to give a reduction on the cost of move-in, depending on how much work a renter is willing to do, and how skilled the potential rental candidate is. If selected, the rental candidate would have to complete cleaning, painting, and minor repairs BEFORE they would be allowed to move-in. The selected renter would also need to have a good rental and credit history, and furnish a current credit report.
I am also willing to give a potential renter a monthly reduction in rent if they are willing to do external scraping & painting on the house, and gardening, (including mowing the lawns). The monthly reduction would be given the following month, depending on whether the tenant had completed whatever painting and/or gardening agreed upon. Again, how much reduction would depend on how much work was done each month, based on a schedule pre-determined between the landlord and tenant.

The cost of move-in without reductions is twice the monthly rent of $675 ($1350), plus a $35 deposit on the satellite TV remote, and a $5 key deposit.
