Mammoth Mountain in nestled in the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountain range of Inyo Kern County in California. The town of Mammoth Lakes sites is at an elevation of 7,800 - 8,200 feet with the surrounding mountains rising to elevations exceeding 14,000feet.

Mammoth Lakes is approx. 325 miles from either Los Angeles or San Francisco and only 164 miles from Reno, Nevada. The town of Mammoth Mountain is situated on 4 square miles and has approx. 7,500 residents year round. In the winter season the town of Mammoth Lakes can swell to over 35,000. The draw is the world class alpine skiing, boarding, endless miles of cross country skiing, snow shoeing and unsurpassed snow conditions.
