That title must've scared a good lot away. And that's fine. I like putting stuff out in the open.
I moved to Los Angeles three years ago. It was my chance to make a new start. I was sent here on a mission: to find a job. Got laid off in '06. Now it seems everyone is laid off. Guess I was lucky in that arena. I picked up a job that does not seem to be very layoff prone. My boss digs me (enough), my co-workers are all nuts but cordial, and I am a 30 year-old homo working in an office of women, another gay token like myself (I was first! =p), and a chick that used to have a crush on me (slow learner...).
I was pretty focused on work and school when I moved here (still am) and I hope to have my BA in a couple years if I'm lucky. I find that I spend a lot of time hooking up which I need to not do. I'm pretty friendly. I just need to spend time finding others that share my interests: working out (I need to have a lot more interest in this), hiking, biking, traveling, clubbing, and most of all while school is in session: studying. It'd be cool to have a study buddy to keep me focused.
I've posted for just about everything else on craigslist. Now I am posting to cure my loneliness. If you're interested in making a new gay friend, let me know.
Thanks. Happy looking.
