Oh hi.
I posted a similar ad a few weeks ago with no replies from any Cub fans. I know you're out there! I've seen you in traffic and I've seen you at Dodger-Cub games! With this in mind, my question is: is there a place in L.A. for Cubbie game days? Maybe at someone's house or perhaps a group that takes Metro trips out to Tin Horn Flats in Burbank? I'm tired of listening to the game by myself (MLB At Bat 2010 for iPhone/iPod Touch is pretty epic if you don't own it already!) and would love to watch the game with someone or a group of Cub fans for once— even if I have to drive, carpool, or take the Metro all the way out to Malibu, Santa Clarita, or Covina. My only disclaimer is that I cannot form a "Chicago bond" with people since I am a native Californian who merely grew up watching WGN... but if it counts for anything, I've been a fan for about 14 years now.
A little more about me: illustrator/artist, shy at first and silly later, lover of music (Elliott Smith, Neko Case, Smashing Pumpkins, way too many artists to list), extremely laid back, easy to get along with, super dark sense of humor, gay (though by no means an angry, man-hating lesbian), and a huge believer in Sam Fuld getting more field time this season. (Remember that catch last year at Dodger Stadium? OH yeah.)
